Mr. Katsuhiko Oizumi is President & CEO of MVC Corporation since October 2009. Mr. Oizumi joined Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in 1980, where he started his career in software importing and distribution business, and was engaged in the task of launching information service business for Mitsui & Co. From 1992 to 1996, he was assigned in New York office of Mitsui & Co. to be responsible for creating new businesses in IT/media sectors. In 1996, at Mr. Oizumi’s initiative, Mitsui & Co. established a joint venture in Japan with America Online, and he was seconded to the joint venture as Adviser to the CEO and the head of marketing/business development. After returning to Mitsui ‘& Co., his major assignments include development of new businesses in IT, media and consumer related areas, and strategic management of Mitsui & Co. group companies. B.S. in Engineering from the University of Tokyo, PMD of Harvard Business School.

Tetsuya Koide joined MVC in August 2010. Prior to joining MVC, Mr. Koide worked at MCVP where he served in positions including Investment Partner mainly focusing on healthcare space and later President & CEO. Prior to MCVP, Mr. Koide worked at Textile and Apparel Unit at Mitsui & Co. Ltd. where he joined in April 1992. Mr. Koide received a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Waseda University in Japan.

Mr. Fuchikami comes with over 10 years of experience in drug discovery researches from gene discovery to preclinical research. Prior to join MVC, he worked for 12 years at Research Center Kyoto, in Bayer Yakuhin, Ltd. At Bayer, his primary focus was kinase inhibitors, respiratory diseases, inflammatory diseases and allergy. Mr. Fuchikami holds an M.Sc. In the field of Medical Sciences from Osaka University Medical School.

Mr. Kakuta joined MVC Corporation in January 2009. He had worked for Nikko antfactory K.K. Yasu Sakoh joined Mitsui Ventures in May 2010. He has more than 11 years experience to supportmulti-national start-up companies. Most notably, he made an investment in Foundry Networks, a Silicon Valley-based high-speed switch/router company,in 1997. Since then, as a representative of Foundry in Japan, he had managed Foundry's sales/marketing activities for almost nine years and successfully closed contracts with various large Telco, OEMs, ISPs, and Internet exchanges.He earned a BS in Physics from Waseda University and an MBA in Private Equity/Venture Capital from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Masaki joined Mitsui Ventures in May 2008 as Venture Partner, and since has been focused on investments in retail and service sector. Mr. Okamoto joined MVC in April 2009 immediately after earning his MBA degree from CEIBS in Shanghai, China. Prior to CEIBS, Mr. Okamoto worked for Mitsubishi UFJ Securities as an investment banker for more than 6 years, where he provided advisory services in M&A and real estate investment projects and was responsible for administration of real estate investment funds. Mr. Watanabe joined Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in 2003.
