QQ Technology obtained the investment from IDG Technology Venture Investment (IDGVC) and Mitsui Ventures. Mitsui Ventures will be dedicated to expanding sales of QQ Technology Inc. in Japan and Asia-Pacific by leveraging Mitsui’s global network and the partnership with the 1st tier industry players. This is also a great start for IDGVC and Mitsui Ventures to work on more exciting investment opportunities in China.
About QQ Technology Inc. :
Incorporated in 2001 in Beijing, QQ Technology designs and develops solutions driven by the market for the communications and telecommunications industry, and provides networking service providers and enterprises with state-of-the-art products as well as services. The company is the first to deliver carrier-grade QQSG into the Chinese market in May, 2005. It enables BSPs, Cable Broadcasters, e-Business, and the government to improve the network application services as well as reduce CAPEX and OPEX. QQ is also currently only the company in China that holds the product certificate from China Telecommunication Technology Labs (CTTL) under authorization of the Ministry of Information Industry (MII).
A key function of QQSG is on-line filtering and justifying various network applications (e.g., P2P based Skype, Bittorrent) that would have different impact on different networks in region and service domains. Unlike legacy network device, it requires QQSG successively provide customer-focused services.
