SenSage Achieves EMC CENTERA Proven Status
SenSage Undergoes Rigorous Testing by VeriTest to Ensure Full Integration With EMC Centera Content Addressed Storage
SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - November 9, 2005 - SenSage, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise security analytics, today announced that SenSage is now EMC Centera Proven by way of testing for functionality, compliance and performance with EMC's industry leading content addressed storage (CAS) system. The testing was conducted by an independent third-party, VeriTest. Together, SenSage and EMC Centera provide organizations with a highly scalable means to centrally aggregate, efficiently analyze, dynamically monitor and cost-effectively store high-volumes of event log data.
EMC Centera Proven status assures that customers using SenSage can more efficiently deploy an EMC Centera / SenSage configuration to provide enterprise-class security information management with long-term, cost-effective storage with assured content authenticity. By achieving EMC Centera Proven status and having a solution generally available in the marketplace, customers can readily manage and rapidly assess vast amounts of security and compliance-relevant content for many years.

The test plan, created by VeriTest and EMC, is based on EMC best practices. Testing concentrates on hardware and software setup, basic Centera capabilities, Centera replication, Centera Disaster Recovery and offsite backup, compliance and retention, single-instance storage, capacity reporting, technical support, and overall application efficiency.
