OTCBB Error

October 21, 2005

To all interested parties:

Today we learned that the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB) mistakenly believed we were delinquent with our Form 10-QSB filing. In the mistaken belief that we were delinquent in this required filing, they added an "E" to our symbol, which is their customary practice for companies that are delinquent in their filings. MicroMed Cardiovascular had previously informed the Securities and Exchange Commission in an 8-K filed August 12, 2005 that the Company had changed its fiscal year end in connection with the merger with Salmon Express on August 10, 2005. Accordingly, the next Form 10-QSB for the Company is not due until November 14, 2005.

After discussions we held today with OTCBB officials, they admitted that they had made a mistake and that they would take the "E" off our symbol at the earliest possible convenience (by no later than Tuesday, October 25, 2005). The stock is still tradable with the E at the end of it.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Vice President/ Controller Michael Rutledge at 713-580-8236.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this administrative error by the OTCBB.

Kind regards,
Travis E. Baugh
