Broncus Technologies is developing Interventional Bronchoscopy devices for the treatment of emphysema. The company was founded in 1997 to develop bronchscopic interventions for the treatment of chronic lung diseases. In late 2003, Broncus Technologies spun-off its asthma program to create an independent new company named Asthmatx, Inc. Today, Broncus Technologies is focused on developing proprietary technologies to address the unmet needs of patients with emphysema.
